Deutsch Naturgeschichte Eingereicht Führungs (?)
Charming German field guides found in a box tucked away in the eaves of my mother’s house. Published around 1934. My personal favorite is the one on gemstones and minerals. Next post will show what’s inside.

My folks had a volume of this series, about butterflies and moths! I used to pour though it as a kid. Dad was in the Army, stationed in post-war Germany. I assume that’s where he got it. I’ve never seen another copy of anything like this. I had no idea it was part of a bigger series!
Thanks so much for sharing, this and everything else you post!

Mark, Love the photos of your butterfly book! Definitely part of the series. I wonder, how many more are there in the series? I have no idea where my mother bought her books and why she had them, except for the fact that the loved all things nature. And the illustrations would have greatly appealed to her.
